ifs Italia has been founded in 1997 by ifs GmbH, an IT company based in Germany that offered IT systems to utility companies across Europe, and become a privately held Italian company in 2000 when the local shareholders acquired the company through a “Management buy-out“. Since then, ifs Italia has grown becoming a leading “Solution Provider for Utilities”, delivering “best-of-breed” IT product and services for the Energy market developed in-house or partnering with international Vendors.
