The tool enhances the features of the Clustering module of BelVis leading to:
- a targeted selection of variables to be used as input leading the user towards the generation of consistent time series to be analyzed;
- the use of the algorithm output in the database to allow the analysis of the customer base, clustering by type of client and creation of consumption profiles for the different types of POD useful to optimize the forecast activities with BelVis PRO (i.e. ANN and ALN).
In addition, a configurable procedure can cross-check automatically the customer and market data, leading to the classification of new customers (without any available meter reading) and associating them to the most realistic consumption profile to be used for the pricing and forecast activities.
